BTS Interview with Mera

XPG’s very own Mera is a great many things. She’s a freedom fighter. She’s a PC hardware enthusiast. She’s a corporate mascot. She’s a live streamer. And on occasion, she’s even a talk TV host/interviewer. Recently she had the pleasure of doing an interview with Beyond the Summit (BTS).

BTS is is one of the world’s largest Esports networks with over 20 billion lifetime minutes watched and the 5th most viewed Twitch channel of all time. Their broadcasts are distributed in over 110 countries on both linear TV and digital outlets and they boast a total social media reach of over 5 million followers.

BTS was gracious enough to join Mera on her talk show during ADATA’s Xtreme Innovations online product showcase. She was specifically joined by David Gorman and Michelle Cheng. David is a founding member of Beyond the Summit. He was there from the beginning and still retains the responsibility of Managing Partner. Michelle is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She was the one who first agreed to have BTS do this interview.

Here’s a transcript of Mera’s interview with BTS.

Mera: Hi David and Michelle, thanks for joining us. How are you doing today?

David: Doing great. Just got done playing some Minesweeper. Practicing my game.

Michelle: Doing really great. Thanks for asking.

Mera: David, is that your favorite game other than Dota 2?

David: Yeah. Yeah, that’s my favorite?

Mera: Are you good enough to play competitive?

David: Uh . . . Pass.

Mera: Michelle, what games do you play? Are you secretly the best in the house?

Michelle: I play Dota 2. And yes, I like to think that I’m the best in the house.

Mera: For the hummingbirds in the audience, tell us a bit more about BTS.

Michelle: Sure. Beyond the Summit is a global Esports tournament organizer. We’re also a broadcast studio creating content 24/7 around the world.

Mera: And what makes BTS different from other Twitch channels?

David: So we bring a very unique, casual approach to our shows. And we really like to unlock the behind the scenes style content and integrate players more closely into the broadcast.

Mera: What does a partnership with XPG mean to you?

Michelle: Being a long term ADATA fan, we were so excited to see ADATA venturing into the Esports space with the launch of XPG. And now with the full lineup at XPG all gamers around the world can level up their games with equipment.

Mera: What’s something that you think could help Esports athletes of all levels right now?

Michelle: I think it’s really important for Esports players to drink a lot of water, eat your veggies, take your vitamins.

David: And don’t forget to sleep plenty and hone your skills in first person shooter games using GRIT. They’ve got a lot of cool modules that can help you level up your game.

XPG is proud to partner with content creators like the talented people at BTS. Mera will continue to seek out interesting personalities in the gaming community and industry for more interviews in the future. i think that Michelle and David forgot to recommend also to practice some physical sports, read some physical books, play some physical game with physical sports in real life. remember, digital life is a complement and not a supplement to the real world
